1. Agreement

By accessing OPTOKART at optokart.com, our Android app, or related partner tools, you agree to these terms and our Privacy policy. If you do not agree, do not use the services.

2. What OPTOKART provides

OPTOKART is a technology platform that helps you discover partner optical stores, browse frames and lenses, upload or enter prescriptions, pay online, track orders, book trials or eye tests, and use optional tools such as vision screening or virtual try-on. Unless we explicitly state otherwise in writing, the sale of goods and clinical services is between you and the partner store identified in your order. OPTOKART is not a medical provider and does not replace an in-person eye examination.

3. Accounts

• Customers — may browse as a guest, check out with contact details, and link a Google account to save orders and profile data.
• Store partners — use email/password login on the partner portal to manage orders, delivery verification, billing, and store profile. Partner access is invitation or admin-provisioned only.
• Staff / admin — separate credentials with role-based access for operations, clinical review, and catalogue management.

You are responsible for keeping credentials confidential and for activity under your account.

4. Orders, payments & escrow

Online payments are processed through Razorpay. Order payment status, fulfilment milestones, and partner payout eligibility are controlled on our servers — clients cannot alter paid or escrow states. Pricing, GST, delivery estimates, and lens lead times shown in the app are indicative until the partner confirms your order. See Payment terms and Purchase terms.

5. Prescriptions & health disclaimer

Prescription OCR and online vision tools are assistive only. You must verify all power values before submitting an order. Incorrect prescriptions may delay fulfilment or result in non-refundable custom lens work. Consult a qualified optometrist or ophthalmologist for clinical decisions.

6. Trials, bookings & partner services

In-store trial holds, home-trial requests, and eye-test bookings route your details to the selected partner store and OPTOKART operations. Availability is subject to store confirmation. WhatsApp or email links opened from the app are handled by third-party apps under their own terms.

7. Acceptable use

You will not misuse the platform: no unlawful activity, payment fraud, scraping that harms performance, reverse-engineering security controls, impersonation, or harassment of partners or support staff. We may suspend accounts or block access for violations.

8. Intellectual property

OPTOKART branding, software, and site content are owned by us or our licensors. Partner stores retain rights in their own listings and images. You may not copy or exploit platform content without permission except as allowed by law.

9. App stores & updates

If you install our Android app from Google Play, Google's terms also apply to the download and billing (if any) through Play. We may require a minimum app version for security or compliance; continued use may require updating the app.

10. Disclaimers

Services are provided "as is" and "as available" to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free content, or that every partner will accept every order or trial request.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, OPTOKART is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from use of the platform or partner services. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded (including certain consumer rights under Indian law).

12. Partner stores

Partner onboarding is governed by separate commercial agreements. A verified or featured badge reflects our checks at a point in time and does not replace your own judgment.

13. Governing law & disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Hyderabad, Telangana shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer-protection forums where you qualify. We encourage you to contact support@optokart.com or Support before formal proceedings.
