Start screening (Tumbling E)
This test uses a standard E chart (tumbling E): you choose which way the letter points. It does not replace a clinic exam and does not produce a prescription.
- Keep your usual glasses off for distance, unless an optometrist told you otherwise.
- Hold the screen about 40–50 cm (roughly arm’s length) from your eyes.
- We test one eye at a time (cover the other with your hand — don’t press the eyeball).
